Dave's Gibson 1959 reissue Ballad to a Backing track-Song for Nia
Dave here with another original piece to a backing track...Song for Nia. This backing track gave me a lot of problems early on and I had no idea what to do with it until one night in mid January when it came to me. Then the piece wrote itself...I hope you enjoy it as much as I do playing it! The backing sounds similar to the Def Leppard song Love Bites although I'm not a huge fan of the band. This piece features my 2000 Gibson 1959 re-issue Les Paul guitar. I played through my Digitech 2120 guitar processor powered by a Mesa Boogie 20 watt per channel stereo power amp. It goes through 2 Marshall 4x12 cabinets in stereo. I also used my Small pointed Lite V-Pick... The BEST guitar picks in the world! Check them out at v-picks.com
